Steven R. Cook is pastor of Word of Truth Bible Church, Arlington, Texas. Steven and several other families started Word of Truth Bible Church in November 2009 for the purpose of providing in depth, verse by verse Bible teaching. Steven has been teaching God’s Word for over twenty years, including twelve years of jail ministry, and leading home Bible studies.
In 1998 Steven completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services from Wayland Baptist University and then pursued two years of post-graduate studies in Classical Literature at Texas Tech University.
In 2006 Steven completed a Master of Divinity degree (which included Hebrew and Greek) from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and went on to pursue some doctoral studies in Expository Preaching.
