Word of Truth Bible Church

Word of Truth Bible Church provides a Teaching Ministry to growing believers who desire to know the wonderful truths of God through His word.  Though general knowledge about God can be gleaned from His creation (Ps. 19:1); men can only know the particulars about Him through the special revelation of Scripture (2 Tim. 3:16-17).  The Bible is God’s revelation of Himself to mankind, and to study His word is to know who He is and what He has done in history.  Once we learn about Him through His word, we can then trust Him personally, and endeavor to accept and walk in all His provisions.  Bible study is necessary to knowing Him and walking in His will.

The Bible is at the center of our Teaching Ministry as we study it verse by verse, interpreting it plainly, considering the original languages, and paying attention to the historical and cultural context from which each human author wrote.  On occasion we slow down in our verse by verse exposition of Scripture to study important doctrines that help us to understand the theological framework resident in the Bible.  Since God the Holy Spirit is the divine Author behind every human author, we expect the word of God to have theological continuity.
